Air handling units (AHUs) are the lungs of any HVAC system. An air handling unit is a device used to regulate and move air as part of a heating, ventilation and air conditioning system. AHU takes air from outside, reconditions it (by filtration and then heating or cooling) and supplies it as fresh air in the rooms.
